After visiting one African country for 3 weeks I noticed how energy really is the key for the future development of the country and the life of people. It is important that a) we have energy, b) we produce it in a sustainable way, c) we are not dependent on only one source of energy and d) everybody should have access to energy to certain amount and f) we (in Europe and America) who use it (too) much have an obligation to develop the sustainable energy production, distribution etc, for those who do not have it now or who have not the resources to develop it.
What do you think follows if B. Obama wins the presidential election in USA and he then starts really fullfilling his speech (which he gave in the democratic party meeting a couple days agohttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kv8eiDvrHJ4 listen at 19 min 54 sec there is the energy part of teh speech ) : "In 10 years we will end our dependency on the middle east oil." Does it sound like J.F. Kennedy`s " We will put a man on the moon"-vision expressed by JFK in the 60´s ? BO also promises to invest 150 bilj USD in renewable energy (wind, solar, bio etc.) if he wins. Well, let´s hope he wins !
.... I think that if he wins it will be good news for the development of renewable energy production all over the globe.
